#NotTapWater

Many people do not know that the majority of bottled water on the market is NOT narturally sourced spring water. Many bottlers and water manufacturers use terms like "distilled" and "reverse osmosis" when explaining how they create thier bottled water. In reality, this water comes from a municipality, and is the exact same before it is treated as the tap water found in the rest of that city where it is being sourced. Even though you may see depictions of mountains, lakes and streams on the bottles, the water is actually tap water that is treated in various ways before it can be bottled for consumption.

Further, many people do not know that many large municipalities in Canada and worldwide derive their water from various processes that re-use waste water (water used in households and drained through toilets, sinks, tubs, etc.), by various means of treatment. This water is then re-used by residents through their taps and faucets again and again.

Please always check the labels on the water you consume if you prefer natural spring water to treated municipally-sourced water.
